The Word of God tells us to have perseverence when we face a trial, as a matter of fact, 1 Peter 2:24 says "He who bore our sins in His own body on the tree that we having died to sins might live for righteousness by whose stipes you were healed".
There are other scriptures, for example in James 1:2 it says "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing the testing of your faith produces patience but let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing". Today, I'm making quite an effort to remain steadfast due to pain in my back radiating down my leg into my right foot. Last night praying with Matthew, my husband, we decided that it's time to do something about it and stop murmuring and complaining. In the next weeks, I'll go for one more lumbar epidural injection, pray that it works and have a brand new set of MRI films and schedule surgery with the Laser Spine Institute the week of Thanksgiving.
Finally, I've come to a place of peace with all of this when I never had one before. God did provide that peace for me and he will do everything that His word says that He will do. If He said it, He will do it! Hold those thoughts!
Now in the last days it is so important to get to those lost sheep and lead them to Jesus Christ, our loving Savior! That is the biggest burden on my heart.
Since I turned 50, it's become an almost URGENT conviction that I'm not getting myself out there and sharing the Good News. Time is short and the King is soon to return. There's a lot of work for us who are called to do.
Let's get ourselves as healthy, energetic and restored so we can be as effective as we possible can and get out there. The fire is sparked and it's starting to burn brighter and that's where this peace is coming from and I want to get going and find those lost sheet and with God's help have them saved.
I want to continue praying for the Holy Spirit to strengthen me and rid me of any fear because perfect love casts out all fear. Timothy said "God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love and a sound mind". Let's get on with it and not let a little "pain in the butt" hinder us from the Great Commission.
There now, I've just encouraged myself - THANK YOU JESUS! Praise God. Amen!

Today in prayer time, along with the Battle Ready Prayer in Monica e-mailed to me, I received a revelation of the amazing and powerful Love of God for us all. God wishes none should perish, but all have everlasting life. That prayer covers all of the issues you could imagine. It's wonderful, thank you my dear friend.
Today also after lunch I'm listening to a message from the Providence Church in West Chester on Philippians. Paul was actually in a Roman prison, chained to a guard and is having a joyful memory of being among the Philippian people and what a wonderful experience it was for him. Can you imagine being in a Roman prison in chains (which Paul mentions numerous times in that book) and having joy at a memory of someone. That is what God and the Holy Spirit provide to us when we remain thankful and exhibit gratitude. It's awesome to me in quiet moments when I actually calm and still my spirit enough to actually "get it".
Unfortunatly too often in our modern society we are hurried, rushed and in a rote posture. When we are finally still those moments become quite valuable and healing in my personal experience.
Have a wonderful day! Be blessed.

DUNAMIS
It is a great day! To start, God allowed me to minister to a fellow co worker today. I have also turned my cheek when I would have normally retaliated. Thank you Jesus. What else do you have in store for me? In this week I have had much down time waiting for my clearances again. Getting antsy but being patient. I have been looking for anything and everything to bring me closer to God. I discovered the Lilies Psalmists which is a prophetic music ministry. Awesome. Check it out on my music page or go to http://www.lilybandmusic.com/
I am preparing and building up my ammunition against the enemy for the trials that will accompany me in the field. I am beginning ignition to receive full on, life-changing dunamis. Child Welfare is truly a calling. Thank you Jesus for choosing me to do this work. I hold you up and bless you today Lord. With God, all things are possible. You are worthy of all praise! You believe in people so I will believe in people as well. <3 Monica
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU KATE
You are the best. Your heart is always in the right place. You are an inspiration and guiding light. You are how a Sister in Christ is supposed to be. I only hope and pray that some of that rubs off on me. Love you!

LAST THOUGHTS OF THE DAY
Lord O Lord, I pray tonight that all my fellow brothers and sisters in You, will rise up in the midst of this dark world and become twinkling stars to lead the way.
Matthew 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under a bushel basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Amen!
Peace Love and Blessings

Not Reasoning but Faith
Since there is very little reasoning involved in faith, it is rather a moot point. The Lord has asked us to "come as little children" to the Kingdom of Heaven. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could have that mentality more of the time? That would help us reduce our stress and have fewer disagreements.
That would be a nicer world for all!
Amen!

I LOVE FRUIT
Today my thoughts revolve around building my relationship with Jesus. Coming closer to the Lord is a wonderful, unending and sometimes unnerving journey. It, at times, feels overwhelming. Like I am just not getting it. Listening for and knowing his voice is my biggest challenge. Ensuring that it is He who is directing me. Just when I think I'm getting good at it, I lose it. Humilility is then again regained. Just like a rollercoaster ride, I am up and then I am down. Its often hard to wrap my head around it, but I expect and invite the trials. Fruit production is at an all time high. LOL. The Lord is my strongtower and provides shelter in time of need. I PRAISE YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN MY LIFE! AMEN

REASONING
TOO MUCH REASONING IS NOT NECESSARY. IT DENIES BLESSINGS AND INHIBITS GROWTH. TRUST IN THE LORD!
